Bloodsimple – Red Harvest (2007)

Bloodsimple (also known as bloodsimple.) was an American metal band from New York City that formed in 2002. They were signed to Warner Bros. Records.

The band’s name, Bloodsimple, comes from a term coined by detective novelist Dashiell Hammett. The term apparently describes the addled, fearful mindset people are in after a prolonged immersion in violent situations. The term was coined in the novel Red Harvest, which is also the title of Bloodsimple’s second album.

Skindred – Roots Rock Riot (2007)

Skindred es un grupo de metal Galés de Newport. La banda se formó en 1998 tras el abandono del cantante Benji Webbe de su anterior grupo, Dub War.

Serj Tankian – Elect the Dead (2007)

Serj Adam Tankian (Սերժ Թանգյան en armenio, en árabe: سيرج تانكيان) (Beirut, Líbano, 21 de agosto de 1967) es un músico libanés–estadounidense de origen armenio. Es un cantante tenor, compositor, poeta, activista político y multiinstrumentista, además de ser el vocalista de la banda System of a Down.

Serj figura en el puesto 26 en la lista de Los 100 mejores vocalistas de Metal de todos los tiempos, según la revista estadounidense Hit Parader.

Elect the Dead es el álbum debut del vocalista de System of a Down, Serj Tankian, como solista. El disco salió a la venta el 23 de octubre de 2007. Serj dijo: «Es un disco de rock con varios tipos de sonidos con diferentes instrumentos», y añadió: «No sé hablar de mi propia música muy bien». El cantante asegura que este álbum tiene la misma energía que el primer trabajo de System of a Down.

Sevendust – Alpha (2007)

Alpha is the sixth studio album by alternative metal band Sevendust. It was released on March 6, 2007.

Alpha is the band’s second album featuring Sonny Mayo on rhythm guitar and the first with him as part of the writing process. It is also the first album by the band to be released under the Warner-affiliated Asylum Records, making Sevendust the only rock band at the moment on that label (the rest being hip-hop and rap artists).

The album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 at number 14, selling about 42,000 copies in its first week.

OTEP es una banda estadounidense de nu metal y Metal Experimental^[1] formada en 2000 por su cantante y líder, Otep Shamaya. he Ascension (stylized as the_Ascension) is the title of the third studio album by Otep. The album was recorded at Piety Street Studios in New Orleans, LA and Balance Studios in Mandeville, LA. The original release date was set for March 20, 2007 through Capitol Records, however, the album was delayed indefinitely due to the recent Capitol/Virgin Records merger.^[1][2][3] As of April 2009 Otep is currently signed to Victory Records.
